Alumni update

With training camps in full swing some of the alumni from the 2016-17 season are already reaping the benefits of their new environments

Dakota Lund Cornish  has signed in Charlottetown with the Islanders of the QMJHL.  He joins Matt Welsh to form an all Macs duo in the crease this year.

Matt Stienburg is currently touring Germany with St Andrews College prep school and playing some high calibre hockey.  Stieny is gaining interest from NCAA D1 and is sure to be a leader for his new school this yr.

Sam Allison has been in Carleton Place of the CCHL for 3 weeks and already has 2 division 1 NCAA schools showing interest.  Sam has had a solid start registering 3 pts in his first 4 junior games and by all accounts is fitting in quite well with his new teammates and surroundings

Justin Barron has signed with the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL and has been the early talk of camp with his poise in the defensive zone and offensive ability.  Justin is the 5th first yr defenceman to graduate from the Halifax program in 5yrs directly to the Q (Welsh, Nauss, Huntley, Baker)

Andrew Picot has signed with the Valley Wildcats of the MHL and is sure to be a key piece in their rebuild.

Aiden Hickey has signed with the Pictou Weeks Crushers of the MHL and will be a key addition to that defense corps.

And lastly, Brandon Stone has signed with the Amherst Ramblers of the MHL where he will look to fill the net like he did for the macs last season.

Best of luck guys!
